JKBOSE starts first ever comprehensive coaching programme for medical, engineering courses

75 students to be coached in the 45 day programme
SRINAGAR, JANUARY 04: Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE), Prof. Zahoor Ahmad Chatt today inaugurated first ever comprehensive coaching programme for medical and engineering courses organized by JKBOSE at Lal Mandi Srinagar.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman said, it is a new initiative taken by JKBOSE for 12th class pass-outs. Mr. Chatt said that the prgramme shall work on methodology different from other coaching institutes and most experienced 12th class faculty members have been engaged to take classes. He added that 75 students have been selected through an online process from different districts of Kashmir division on first come first serve basis at a fee of Rs 3000 per student. He said that in the said coaching programme teaching shall be based not only curriculum but will also help students learn time management during competitive exams. The success of this programme depends on coordination between students and the faculty, the Chairman said.
Mrs. Meena Pandita, Secretary JKBOSE advised students to work hard and to use this precious time thoroughly and contribute to the society in a best possible way.
In this month, JKBOSE will organize convocation at Jammu to award gold medals to 89 meritorious, 10th and 12th class students, of the state.
All district officers, students and officials of JKBOSE were present on this occasion.
