JK Tourism holds road show at New Delhi

NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 12- Promoting Jammu Kashmir’s immense tourism potential aggressively across the country, JK Tourism Department organised a massive road show in New Delhi’s Lalit Hotel in which North India’s prominent travel trade representatives were invited to witness the impressive presentation from the department which showcased Jammu and Kashmir as one of the best destinations for its natural beauty, landscapes, gushing water streams ,history and heritage, adventure tourism, culture, crafts and cuisine, skiing and mountaineering slopes, lake tourism, MiCE and Golf tourism .
The Secretary Tourism, Mr. Farooq Ahmed Shah briefed the gathering about the 5500 year old history of kashmir ,the heritage and hospitality of the state for which Jammu and Kashmir is famous all over the world. He assured to provide best and upgraded services to visitors in 2016 .
Director Tourism Jammu, Mr R.K Verma, Director Tourism Kashmir Mahmood A Shah and other officials of Tourism, JKTDC and SKICC were present in the road show.
