JK reports 599 new positive cases, 290284 recovered so far

JAMMU, JUNE 14: The Government on Monday informed that 599  new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 161 from Jammu division and 438 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 308011 . Also, 09 COVID-19 deaths have been reported,04 from Jammu Division and 05 from Kashmir Division.

Moreover, 2139 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 729 from Jammu Division and 1410 from Kashmir Division.

01 new confirmed case of mucormycosis has been reported today, bringing the cumulative no of confirmed cases to 20 in the UT of J&K.

Besides this, 76.47 percent of population above the age of 45 years has been vaccinated across the Jammu and Kashmir.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 308011 positive cases, 13532 are Active Positive, 290284 have recovered and 4195 have died; 2041 in Jammu division and 2154 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 9214386 test results available, 8906375 samples have been tested as negative till 14th June, 2021.

Till date 2244233 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 59714 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 13532 in isolation and 151511 in home surveillance. Besides, 2015281 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 68389 positive cases (including 161 cases reported today) with 2039 Active Positive, 65535 recovered (including 315 cases recovered today), 815 deaths; Baramulla has 22726 positive cases (including 38 cases reported today)with 1045 Active Positive, 21408 recovered (including 354 cases recovered today), 273 deaths; Budgam reported 21889  positive cases (including 60 cases reported today)with 1000 active positive cases, 20690 recovered (including 128 cases recovered today), 199 deaths; Pulwama has 14451 positive cases (including 37 cases reported today)with 1262 Active Positive, 13008 recovered (including 41 cases recovered today)and 181 deaths; Kupwara has 13324 positive cases (including 62 cases reported today), 832 Active Positive, 12338 recoveries (including 93 cases recovered today), 154 deaths;  Anantnag district has 15555 positive cases (including 33 cases reported today)with 886 Active Positive, 14476 recovered (including 119 cases recovered today), 193 deaths;  Bandipora has 9008 positive cases (including 19 cases reported today), with 332 Active Positive and 8578 recoveries (including 83 cases recovered today), 98 deaths; Ganderbal has 9294 positive cases (including 07 cases reported today) with 390 Active Positive, 8830 recoveries (including 74 cases recovered today) and 74 deaths; Kulgam has 10719 positive cases (including 17 cases reported today)with 553 Active Positive, 10057 recoveries (including 164 cases recovered today) and 109 deaths while as Shopian has 5503 positive cases (including 04 cases reported today), 219 active positive cases, 5226 recoveries (including 39 cases recovered today) and 58 deaths.

Similarly, Jammu has 52025 positive cases (including 22 cases reported today) with 1607 active positive cases, 49301 recoveries (including 266 cases recovered today), 1117 deaths; Udhampur has 11001 positive cases (including 13 cases reported today), 228 active positive cases, 10642 recoveries (including 34 cases recovered today)and131deaths; Rajouri has 10407 positive cases (including 33 cases reported today)with 454active positive, 9749 recoveries (including 98 cases recovered today)and 204deaths; Doda has 6404 positive cases (including 27 cases reported today)with910 Active positive, 5396 recovered (including 110 cases recovered today)and 98 deaths; Kathua has 9070 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today), 115 active positive cases, 8806 recovered(including 18 cases recovered today) and 149deaths; Kishtwar has 4252 positive cases (including 10 cases reported today)with 148 Active Positive, 4065 recoveries (including 29 cases recovered today)and 39 deaths; Samba has 7003 positive cases (including 11 cases reported today)with 264 active positive cases, 6621recoveries (including 41 cases recovered today)and 118 deaths; Poonch has 5858 positive cases (including 15 cases reported today)with 740 active positive, 5032 recoveries (including 122 cases recovered today) and 86 deaths; Ramban has 5612 positive cases (including 08 cases reported today)with353 active positive cases, 5201 recoveries and 58 deaths while Reasi has 5521 positive (including 17 cases reported today)with 155 active positive cases, 5325 recoveries (including11 cases recovered today)and 41 deaths.
