JK reports 715 new positive cases, 292114 recovered so far

JAMMU, JUNE 15: The Government on Tuesday informed that 715 newpositive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 218 from Jammu division and 497 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 308726. Also, 10 COVID-19 deaths have been reported,06 from Jammu Division and 04 from Kashmir Division.

Moreover, 1830 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 642 from Jammu Division and 1188 from Kashmir Division.

01 new confirmed case of mucormycosis has been reported today, bringing the cumulative no of confirmed cases to 21 in the UT of J&K.

Besides this, 76.80 percent of population above the age of 45 years has been vaccinated across the Jammu and Kashmir.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 308726 positive cases, 12407 are Active Positive, 292114 have recovered and 4205 have died; 2047 in Jammu division and 2158 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 9258141 test results available, 8949415 samples have been tested as negative till 15th June, 2021.

Till date 2254586 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 55817 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 12407 in isolation and 159202 in home surveillance. Besides, 2022955 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 68521 positive cases (including 132 cases reported today) with 1873 Active Positive, 65833 recovered (including 298 cases recovered today), 815 deaths; Baramulla has 22781 positive cases (including 55 cases reported today)with 974 Active Positive, 21533 recovered (including 125 cases recovered today), 274 deaths; Budgam reported 21952  positive cases (including 63 cases reported today)with 933 active positive cases, 20820 recovered (including 130 cases recovered today), 199 deaths; Pulwama has 14509 positive cases (including 58 cases reported today)with 1164 Active Positive, 13162 recovered (including 154 cases recovered today)and 183 deaths; Kupwara has 13389 positive cases (including 65 cases reported today), 757 Active Positive, 12477 recoveries (including 139 cases recovered today), 155 deaths;  Anantnag district has 15591 positive cases (including 36 cases reported today)with 753 Active Positive, 14645 recovered (including 169 cases recovered today), 193 deaths;  Bandipora has 9035 positive cases (including 27 cases reported today), with 332 Active Positive and 8605 recoveries (including 27 cases recovered today), 98 deaths; Ganderbal has 9319 positive cases (including 25 cases reported today) with 378 Active Positive, 8867 recoveries (including 37 cases recovered today) and 74 deaths; Kulgam has 10750 positive cases (including 31 cases reported today)with 521 Active Positive, 10120 recoveries (including 63 cases recovered today) and 109 deaths while as Shopian has 5508 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today), 178 active positive cases, 5272 recoveries (including 46 cases recovered today) and 58 deaths.

Similarly, Jammu has 52047 positive cases (including 22 cases reported today) with 1422 active positive cases, 49508recoveries (including 207 cases recovered today), 1117 deaths; Udhampur has 11014 positive cases (including 13 cases reported today), 207active positive cases, 10676 recoveries (including 34 cases recovered today)and131deaths; Rajouri has 10456 positive cases (including 49 cases reported today)with 431 active positive, 9819recoveries (including 70 cases recovered today)and 206deaths; Doda has 6435 positive cases (including 31cases reported today)with854Active positive, 5481recovered (including 85 cases recovered today)and 100deaths; Kathua has 9085 positive cases (including 15 cases reported today), 116 active positive cases, 8820 recovered(including 14cases recovered today) and 149deaths; Kishtwar has 4271 positive cases (including 19 cases reported today)with 139 Active Positive, 4093 recoveries (including 28 cases recovered today)and 39 deaths; Samba has 7008 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today)with 231 active positive cases, 6659recoveries (including 38cases recovered today)and 118 deaths; Poonch has 5892 positive cases (including 34 cases reported today)with676active positive, 5130recoveries (including 98 cases recovered today) and 86 deaths; Ramban has 5628 positive cases (including 16 cases reported today)with315 active positive cases, 5254 recoveries (including 53 cases recovered today) and 59 deaths while Reasi has 5535 positive (including 14 cases reported today)with 153 active positive cases, 5340 recoveries (including15 cases recovered today)and 42 deaths.
