J&K Governor, CM discuss infiltration from PaK, other issues

Srinagar: Repeated attempts by militants to infiltrate into this side of the Line of Control (LoC) from Pakistan-administered Kashmir (PaK) and other issues came up for discussion during the meeting between Governor N N Vohra and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah here today.

During the past three months, 23 heavily armed militants were killed by the troops near the LoC immediately after sneaking into this side from PaK.

The latest was on August 31 when five infiltrators were killed by troops in Tangdhar sector.
