J&K Bank starts Shri Amarnathji Yatra registration

Srinagar, Mar 2(KMW): J&K Bank began registration for Shri Amarnathji Yatra – 2015 today, when the bank’s Zonal Head Jammu (central) Arvind Gupta handed over the first yatra slip to Ujwal Sharma at the Bank’s Residency Road counter in Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion, Zonal Head said that a total of 2, 96,180 (Two Lac Ninety Six Thousand One Hundred Eighty) pilgrims will be registered for the holy yatra through 87 designated Business Units of the Bank spread across the country.
People who plan to undertake the yatra can get themselves registered on `first come first serve’ basis from any of the 87 Business Units, he added.
Zonal Head further said that for registration the yatris will have to submit prescribed Health Certificate from the authorized Doctor/Medical Institute, Application Form and four passport sized photographs, as per the guidelines of Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, along with the requisite registration fee of Rs 50/.
The registration facility in Jammu is available at Residency Road, Bakshi Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Billawer, Udhampur, Rajouri, Poonch, Ramban & Doda business units of the Bank between 3 P.M and 6 P.M on all working days except Saturdays, when it will be available from 1 P.M to 4 P.M.
