Srinagar, Apr 30(KMW): J&K Bank gave a warm send off to its Executive President Abdul Hamid Banday, who attained superannuation today.
Chairman and CEO Mushtaq Ahmad along with Executive President Parvez Ahmad, Senior Presidents, Presidents, Vice-presidents and other senior officers attended the farewell held at the bank’s Corporate Office.
Throughout his service career that spanned over three decades, Banday has played an important role in different capacities in the growth and development of the bank. He was currently among other departments heading the bank’s Strategy and Business Development Division.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Mushtaq Ahmad said, “Visionary leadership is the primary force guiding organisation towards growth and realizing its objectives. In that sense, our pioneers have contributed richly to the growth of this bank.”
“Now it is our responsibility to build over the legacy and achieve higher goals in future”, he added.
Thanking the bank and his longtime colleagues Abdul Hamid banday said, “I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all my colleagues who worked with me to make these years cherishable for the rest of my life.”
I thank all for their support and patience, he added.
