J&K Bank commissions new ATMs at ILBS Delhi, Rakiban Rajouri

Srinagar, May 12: Reinforcing its commitment towards expanding accessible digital banking infrastructure, J&K Bank today commissioned two new ATMs at prominent locations in New Delhi and Rajouri to enhance customer convenience and strengthen banking outreach.

In New Delhi, the Bank commissioned a new ATM at the prestigious Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), Vasant Kunj – one of India’s leading super-speciality liver hospitals. The ATM was formally inaugurated by Founding Director & Chancellor, ILBS, Dr. Shiv Kumar Sarin in presence of General Manager/Divisional Head (RoI) Riaz Ahmad Wani, Zonal Head (Delhi) Rozy Tickoo and other senior officers of the Bank.

Speaking on the occasion, Divisional Head (RoI) Riaz Ahmad Wani said, “J&K Bank remains committed to expanding its customer-centric digital banking infrastructure at premier institutions and key locations across the country. The commissioning of this ATM at ILBS reflects our endeavour to provide convenient, secure and seamless banking services to patients, attendants, healthcare professionals and the general public besides strengthening the Bank’s visibility and outreach beyond the region.”

Meanwhile in J&K’s Rajouri district, the Bank commissioned another onsite ATM at Rakiban, taking the total number of ATMs in Zone Rajouri, comprising Rajouri and Poonch districts, to 86.

The ATM was inaugurated by Zonal Head (Rajouri) Rajeev Kumar Digra in presence of valued customers, elected public representatives, senior Bank officials, Branch Head, and local residents.

Speaking on the occasion, Zonal Head Rajeev Kumar Digra said, “J&K Bank is continuously working towards strengthening digital banking infrastructure and ensuring greater financial accessibility for people in remote and semi-urban areas. The commissioning of this ATM at Rakiban is another step towards bringing convenient and secure banking services closer to the people.”

The participants at both the events appreciated the Bank for augmenting its digital banking network and extending modern banking facilities to customers across diverse geographies.
