Srinagar: Militant outfit, Jash-e-Mohammad allegedly warned people against participation in Panchayat polls in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday. Official sources said that a few posters appeared in Matrigam village in Pulwama today. The posters called upon people not to participate in the Panchayat elections, beginning tomorrow (Wednesday) in the state.   Confirming that a few posters appeared in the village, superintendent of police, Amit Kumar told that police has identified the man who pasted the posters. “We have identified the militant and a man hunt has been launched to arrest him,†he said.The first of the sixteen phased Panchayat poll in the state begins tomorrow and eight blocks including Bishnah, Samba, Kangan, Budgam, Quimouh, Kupwara and Udhampur will vote in the first phase.
