The Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing not just all development but at full speed after the abrogation of article 370 in many spheres of life .The life and economy has witnessed many positive changes as good numbers of sectors are witnessing positive changes.

Jammu and Kashmir development scene had remained very abysmal before the abrogation of 370, as was well known from poor state of health and education sector.

Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing much growth in the in terms of overall investment climate.

Global investors have shown much interest after abrogation in investing in Jammu and Kashmir.

From real estate to tourism sector, Jammu and Kashmir has wooed investors at every level. During recent Dubai Expo the several global investors signing business deals while many have shown keenness to invest in Union Territory of J&K.

Jammu and Kashmir Delegation was led by the Lieutenant Governor to UAE where the team J&K signed six investment agreements with leading global investors who are going to invest in the Union Territory.

Prestigious UAE-based retail major Lulu group sometime back said it will invest ₹200 crore in Jammu and Kashmir to set up a food processing and logistic hub.

The Lulu group signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Jammu and Kashmir Government in this regard, the company said in a statement.

In a major victory for the country, The UAE is also emerging as a major partner in Jammu and Kashmir’s development. In the past few months, the Union Territory has signed a slew of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Abu Dhabi to build strong business relations.

Skill development of youth to answer the grave problem of unemployment has become forte of the government after abrogation of article 370.

‘Skill Hub Initiative’ programme was formally launched this year in Jammu and Kashmir under the Samagra Shiksha project here on Saturday, an official said. Project Director-Samagra Shiksha, Deep Raj Kanethia said 40 schools have been identified and designated as ‘skill hubs’ in the Union Territory but initially the programme is being launched in nine government schools as a pilot project.

The health sector in Jammu and Kashmir after the abrogation of article 370 has witnessed massive change in form of new health institutions being established and the golden card facility for all residents of Jammu and Kashmir residents by virtue of which they receive free insurance cover of rs 5 lac. Bright statistics have dawned the health sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

Authorities in Jammu and Kashmir have issued Golden Cards to over 16 lakh families under the Ayushman Bharat scheme that has transformed the healthcare facilities for residents of the union territory.

Officials said 16.38 lakh families have been covered under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.

Work on various projects of health sector is going on smoothly and necessary measures are being taken to ensure that all the projects are completed within the set deadlines.

The education sector of Jammu and Kashmir too has witnessed massive positive impetus after the abrogation of article 370.

The Government has decided to implement National Education Policy (NEP) in Jammu and Kashmir with effect from current session, gave nod to one calendar in all Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) across the Union Territory and directed the Universities to strictly stick to timelines fixed for completion of Graduate and Post Graduate courses.

Reflecting the improvement in education standards of Government schools, student enrolment in government-run-schools has increased by more than 19.02 percent in the ongoing academic year in Kashmir.

After the abrogation of article 370 , School Education Department has recorded an unprecedented thrust, particularly in the elementary segment. The Samagra Shiksha has come as a boon, unleashing a series of initiatives seeking universal enrolment and retention, reduction of social, regional and gender gaps, mainstreaming of the children with special needs and promotion of quality parameters.

The all important tourism sector has seen sea of developments with untapped Destinations being tapped and developments being carried out in all the major tourist destinations of JK.

The arrival of tourists in Kashmir has broken a decade-old record as more than 12 lakh tourists have visited different places in the Valley this year.

Officials in the tourism department and tour operators termed this as an exponential hike in tourist influx this year and goods omen for tourism sector of Kashmir. We need to keep in mind that this major breakthrough has happened only due to the successful campaigns of the J&K government to attract maximum tourists towards the region.

 According to statistics of the J&K tourism department, March 2022 broke the 10-year tourist arrival record in Kashmir, signaling that the tourism industry is finally on the path to recovery,” J&K official spokesman had stated.

Jammu and Kashmir after abrogation of article 370 according to many voices becoming an oasis of development, and this development is being witnessed in many sectors and supported very well by the facts on the ground and statistics as well.
