Srinagar: Paramilitary Border Security Forces Wednesday claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid by killing one person along the Line of Control in Samba sector of Jammu region. Public relation Officer of BSF, Vinod Sharma told that troops of 122 battalion observed some suspicious movement along Alah-Miya-Di Kotha (AMK) forward post in Chicken Neck sector of Samba during wee hours this morning. He said that troops challenged the infiltrators, resulting in a gunfight in which one infiltrator got killed while his colleague managed to retrieve back.He said that an AK rifle, two magazines, nine rounds and five packets, one kilogram each, of narcotics were recovered from the possession of the slain infiltrator whose identity was being established. “The narcotic material was sent for scientific examination and we will be able to say the variety only after receiving the report,†he said.
