New Delhi: The business communities of India and Pakistan will form a joint trade and investment forum in order to achieve six billion dollar trade target between the two nations by 2014, Assocham said today.
“The business communities of both the countries have reached an understanding to form a joint trade and investment forum which will help achieve the ambitious six billion dollar trade target between both the nations by 2014,” Assocham president Dilip Modi said.
The decision was taken during a meeting with Pakistan Commerce Minister Makhdoom Amin Fahim and Assocham members here. Mr Modi will lead a senior-level business delegation in November to institutionalise the forum.
