Srinagar, (KMW News): Tehreek e Hurriyat Kashmir in its resolution has appraised both India and Pakistan to take up rational approach with respect to Jammu and Kashmir Issue. “Unless and until the issue is addressed as per the aspiration of people of Jammu and Kashmir, there are less chances of prevalence of political stability in the regionâ€, it added.
A resolution passed unanimously in the executive council of Tehreek e Hurriyat and Chairman Syed Ali Geelani in chair, cautioned both India and Pakistan and added that stability and prosperity of the both countries will remain a dream and , the chances for peace and tranquility are bleak until the issue is resolved . The resolutions adopted and passed said that bilateral talks between the two may serve some provisional and material gains for both but it won’t serve any purpose if the prime party and their aspiration were ignored. The resolution said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir constitute its principal party to the issue and any solution forced against the aspiration of the people won’t be accepted nor the people could be forced to give off or call back their struggle. The executive council under the chairmanship of Syed Ali Geelani appealed India and Pakistan to abnegate their stubborn approach and on the other hand Pakistan was called to adopt responsible, affectionate and realistic approach. The resolution passed has asked both countries that the final and permanent settlement of the issue would relieve out the charged and uneasiness atmosphere and pave way for the resolution of all their domestic problems and added that the ongoing freedom struggle is neither impressed by sectarian passions nor in no way is a retaliation or overwhelmed by vengeance against any group or society .The resolution passed, explicitly said that Jammu and Kashmir neither remained a part of India nor is now a part of India and added that the present turmoil in state is an outcome of subjugation and added that against all norms and policy of division the state was handed over to India through deceitful politics .Referring to the history the resolution said that factors like nexuses between the Britain and Indian national Congress, Sheikh Abdullah’s lust of power which Sheikh Abdullah nourished and the deceitful politics all played a key role, and added that India was in a position to grab it through its might and military power. While seeking the solution through Peaceful and meaningful means and added that people are striving for just solution, but on the other hand instead of providing justice the people are denied their birth right. Strongly castigating India for its exhibition of arrogance, deceitful politics and added that people against all these odds would continue their struggle. The executive council unanimously declared that India is subjugating the genuine voice through its arrogance,abjuration,military power and plays foxy politics and added that Delhi with its multi dimential methods has unleashed a reign of terror and under the agenda of cultural aggression sponsor and patronize waywardness,nudity,and promotes drug intoxication among youth. They in order to overpower the sentiments of youth brought over changes in the education system. The mass killing and rehabilitation of outsiders in the state is their game plane and agencies are hell-bent to change the demography of the state.lakh,s of labours ,artisans,nomads and beggars are being pushed in state in a calculated manner and with the result has deteriorated the social fabric and economy of the state. Executive council observed that all these factors have multiplied the vows and their negative effects are quite evident. Executive council in its resolution while clearing its stand observed that people of Jammu and Kashmir are not against the Amaranth Yatra but stressed that the Yatra needed to be managed on Utrakhand pattern and advocated and added that India is politicizing the religious pilgrimage and under its garb instigate its sinister designs and political agenda. Resolution marked that the inflow in the number of yatris and extending the specified period by two months has its adverse effect ,thus terrorizing the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The executive council while in its resolution stressed that the Yatra period be limited to 15 days and limited number of yatris should be allowed as already done in Gangotri in Uttaranchal. While in executive council it was observed the way Mohammad Afzal Guroo was executed secretly in Tihar, was a blot on democracy of India,. And added that execution was carried keeping in view the political gains .Resolution said that natural resources and forests are at the verge of extinction and power resources were exploited by the Delhi government and its forces. While blaming the forcses for deforestation, the resolution said that 28 lac Kanals of agricultural and forest land has been occupied by forces. Lamenting at state administration the executive council in its resolution said that role played by local administration is shocking and unacceptable and taking strong note of continuous detention of Its chairman Syed Ali Geelani, the executive council in an unanimous voice castigated the role played by authorities and added that there is no justification for the immoral and unconstitutional detention of its chairman. While reiterating its stand, the executive observed that Tehreek E Hurriyat being a political organization with clear and unambiguous stand do not believe in oppressive or repressive measures, instead its manifesto clearly depicts in illustrious manner its approach and way of functioning . While castigating the administration for their callous approach said, that Syed Ali Geelani indeed want to place his political view point and restriction laid amounts to denial of his civil rights. Tehreek Hurriyat in its appeal has asked people to extend their support for ongoing movement and reiterated its view point and appealed to follow teachings of Holly Quran and prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with devotion and sincere heart.
