Kathmandu: Nepal today assured India that it would look into the issues raised by Indian joint ventures here as External Affairs Minister S M Krishna raised concerns over harassment of Indian firms with the government.
“Government of Nepal has assured India that it would look into the issues raised by Indian joint ventures operating in Nepal,” said Krishna, who is on a three-day visit here.
He took up “matters relating to the harassment being mated out to some of the larger Indian joint ventures” in Nepal with government here.
Raising security concern of Indian joint ventures operating in Nepal, Krishna asked Nepalese leadership to create a favourable atmosphere to attract more joint ventures to boost Nepal?s economic development.
