Chandigarh, Dec 20: The much-anticipated Global Youth Film Festival, India’s first youth-centric film festival, was inaugurated with grandeur, celebrating the spirit of independent filmmaking and creative expression. Organized by Supremacy Talents and presented by the Institute of Moving Images (IMI), Chandigarh, the festival showcased an impressive lineup of films by independent filmmakers. Adding to the cultural vibrancy, the festival featured an open mic event titled Mic Tonic, which provided a platform for young talents to display their artistic prowess. The event was skillfully anchored by Miss Arshdeep Kour, Miss Teen Tourism Earth 2024, who added elegance and enthusiasm to the proceedings.
The event was graced by Dr. Parveen Kataria Director General Aryans Group of collages as the Chief Guest, whose inspirational words set the tone for an unforgettable evening. Ms. Maninder Kour Shahi director E-Solutions pvt.ltd, the Guest of Honour, and Ms. Zanat Sood, the Special Guest, lent their presence to the occasion, highlighting their commitment to nurturing creative talent.
An esteemed jury panel evaluated the showcased films, comprising Mr. Hardeep Ji, Ms. Shalu, Mr. Sarab , Mr. Gandharv ji.Their collective expertise ensured a meticulous assessment of the outstanding entries.
