SRINAGAR: In an important political development, Senior Vice President of J&K Awami National Conference Muzaffer Shah in a press statement has said that Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamaal as Additional General Secretary National Conference and party’s spokesman has once again from his self generated accusations that New Delhi has been conspires against Kashmiries, Sheikh Family and creation of differences between Brother-Sister. Dr.Kamaal has also said that the accession of the state with the union of India is temporary. In another salvo Kamaal revealed that some central agencies and bureaucracy are creating hurdles in the revocation of draconian law AFSPA from the J&K State.
Muzaffer Shah has further said that if Dr.Kamaal has brought the said revelations into the limelight with the permission of his party and if National Conference really thinks that the accession of J&K with India is temporary and is committed for the revocation of draconian law AFSPA, then Awami National Conference has no differences with National Conference.
Muzaffer Shah has said that Awami National Conference has always stood for the safeguard of rights of the oppressed people of Kashmir. Mr.Shah has said that the differences of Awami National Conference with National Conference started after the demise of Sheri Kashmir Sheikh Mohd Abdullah, when Dr. Farooq Abdullah took the reins of Government and at Iqbal park convention and accused Cabinet of Sheri Kashmir Sheikh Mohd Abdullah as corrupt and dishonest. It was late G.M.Shah who criticized the silly remarks of Dr.Farooq Abdullah and resigned from Government. On the Obituary meeting of Senior National Conference leader, Late Khawaja Gh. Mohidin Shah, Dr.Farooq in his speech invited late G.M.Shah to take the reigns of J&K National Conference party, late G.M.Shah suggested to make National Conference free from the black Sheep, which was not accepted and the drama of National Conference came to a dead end.
Muzaffer Shah has said that, if in the words of Dr.Kamaal, National Conference sees Kashmir as a long pending dispute and are committed for the revocation of AFPSPA, then National Conference should also accept the stand of separatists and should invite them to join a single platform. National Conference should resign from the Government and come on a single platform for the solution of long pending Kashmir issue and revocation of AFSPA, all the differences of JKANC will come to an end.
