Srinagar: The Hurriyat Conference (M) delegation led by its Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq is leaving for Pakistan Saturday to hold talks with various Pakistani leaders in a bid to push for inclusion of Kashmiris in the Indo-Pak dialogue process on Kashmir.
The delegation members, who have been putting up at New Delhi is scheduled to depart for Lahore at the Indira Gandhi International Airport on Satruday evening, Hurriyat sources told.
The delegation is scheduled to proceed towards Islamabad after meeting various delegations and leaders in Lahore, the sources added.
According to sources, the delegation will also meet Pakistan Prime Minister Raja Parvez, President Asif Ali Zardair and Foreign Minister Hina Rabani Khar apart from various other political leaders.
The delegation will also visit PaK capital Muzafarabad during the visit, the sources added.
The delegation besides Mirwaiz includes Prof Abdul Gani Bhat, Bilal Gani Lone, Moulana Abbas Ansari, Aga Syed Al-Hassan, Musadiq Adil and Mukhtar Ahmed Waza.
Pertinently, another Hurriyat (M) executive member Shabir Ahmed Shah has applied for travel to Pakistan through LoC.
Meanwhile, the Hur
riyat delegation today met with officials of the Pakistan High Commission including the High Commissioner, Salman Bashir in an attempt to finalize the itinerary / schedule for the upcoming visit, the sources added.
