Srinagar, Mar 16 (KMW): A spokesman of Hurriyat Conference (M) has strongly condemned the imposition of continuous undeclared curfew for the last two days in most parts of the valley and Srinagar city which has rendered the life of the people miserable and contemptible.

According to a statement issued to KMW, while terming the government action as vindictive and dictatorial, the spokesman has said that on one hand the people of Kashmir are facing the fury of the weather and the tyranny of the government imposed oppressive measurers while on the other hand the ruling class of the state is busy in relishing feasts at their party headquarters.
The spokesman further said that after turning the households of Kashmiris into mournful and sorrowful places the rulers of the state are busy in enjoying the luxury of Wazwan which unambiguously reflects the non seriousness of the rulers towards the miseries and difficulties faced by the people.
Ridiculing the announcement of government regarding the setting up of enquiry commission to probe the incident of Naid Khai killing the spokesman has said that this has been made just to by time and also to hoodwink the international community. He said that many such enquires were announced in the past but none of these produced any results.
The spokesman has also condemned the continuous house confinement of Chairman APHC Mirwaiz Dr. Molvi Mohammad Umar Farooq and other leaders including Moulana Abbas Ansari, Mr. Zaffar Akbar Bhat, Syed Saleem Geelani, and also the arrest and continued detention of People’s Political Party Chairman, Engineer Hilal Ahmed War. The spokesman said that these actions of the government reflect frustration and vindictive approach of the government towards the true leadership Kashmiris and added that such undemocratic acts cannot stop the leadership from pursing the just cause of Kashmiris and raising the voice against the atrocities committed by the government on the people of Kashmir.
