Srinagar, (KMW News): The APHC has devised an effective programme to observe a valley-wide martyrs day on 13 July so as to protest the ceaseless repression, bloodshed and a well hatched conspiracy to take political revenge against the helpless Kashmiris. In this regard, the APHC Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has called joint session of hurriyat’s executive and general council on July 8 to give final touches to the programme so as to make it successful at all levels. According to the programme, the hurriyat leaders would lead the protests marches from all district headquarters of Kashmir and would proceed towards the Jamia Masjid, Srinagar. Once all the protest gatherings would converge at Jamia Masjid, the APHC Chairman would lead all of them in a joint procession towards Naqashbandh Sahib (RA) shrine soon after the afternoon prayers are over. At Naqashbandh Sahib (RA) shrine, a large gathering would be held where resolutions against military buildup and black laws leading to gross human rights violations and bloodshed of Kashmiris would be passed. The Kashmiris would also appeal the UN and other International organizations to press India for the immediate resolution of the Kashmir problem. Meanwhile, the APHC spokesman has sternly condemned the house detention of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and heads of its Human Rights and Public Relation Cells, Salim Geelani and Zaffar Akbar Bhat. The spokesman said by imposing restrictions on the political activities of Pro freedom leaders, government can’t suppress the voices of right to self determination. He equated such measures as dictatorial and said it was tantamount to political revenge. The spokesman also condemned the raids conducted by the forces on the houses of hurriyat leaders and workers. He decried the arrest of Mushtaq Ahmad and Farooq Ahmad Saudagar. Senior hurriyat leader and head of Womens wing, Yasmeen Raja visited
