Bangalore; Veteran Gandhian and crusader against corruption Anna Hazare, who arrived here today, said he was hopeful that the Lokpal Bill would be passed in the ongoing winter session of Parliament.
Speaking to reporters at the international airport here, he said his crusade, however, would continue until a strong Lokpal Bill was enacted.
”We will not rest until then”, he said.
Mr Hazare will address a public meeting and later the media.
He would also meet a number of activists and heads of organisations fighting against corruption.
The public meeting will be held at Freedom Park, which was originally a century old central prison. Various organisations have joined hands in organising the event in support of Mr Hazare’s campaign.
Police have made security arrangements for the meeting.
