Grenade attack on CRPF bunker in Srinagar, no one injured

Srinagar, Jun 1(KMW): Militants hurled a hand grenade towards Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) bunker at Hari Singh High Street (HSHS) in the heart of city on Friday night, official sources said.

They said militants lobbed a hand grenade towards the CRPF bunker on the bank of river Jehlum. However, the grenade missed the intended target and exploded at a distance without causing any damage.

The area was cordoned off and a search operation has been launched, they said.
