Fidayeen storm CRPF training camp at Lethpora, 3 injured

Srinagar,, December 31 (KMW):Militants in the wee hours of Sunday morning carried a suicide attack on Central Reserve Police Forces (CRPF) personnel at its Group Training Centre (GTC) Lethpora area of Awantipora in southern Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

According to reports, militants attacked GTC with grenades and heavy firing at around 2 am in the night.

Reports said that at atleast three CRPF personnel were injured in militant attack who have been rushed to hospital.

Police said that a fidayeen group stormed into CRPF GTC Lethpora after lobbing grenades and resorted to heavy firing on government forces personnel.

Meanwhile, authorities have snapped Mobile internet services in the district.
