Srinagar, Aug 12: Senior leader of BJP Fayaz Ahmad Bhat Tuesday visited various parts of Srinagar and Shahri Khaas addressed different gatherings and introduced with large sections of society.
In a statement issued to KMW, while welcoming second historical visit of Modi to J&K State within shortest period of two months, he has proved his personal concern about the people of the state. His opening of 349 KM long power transmission line to Leh as well as inauguration of power generation projects in Leh and Kargil; he has brought power generation revolution in the state. He said that his speech in start has been in tune with the commitment of Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee that all Kashmir related problems should be resolved within the parameters of humanity. He said that today Modi declared his priority towards the development of Pashmina, which was part of my campaign during my parliament election campaign in Srinagar as lacs of people of Kashmir are associated with this trade which was brought to the level of paralysis and collapse during last ten years of UPA rule. He said that during UPA government 35 thousand Pashmina goats died in Leh as a result of food starvation last year. It was the biggest ecological disaster which was kept secret by UPA and its allied governments. However, time has come to launch a probe against such killings of 35 thousand Pashmina goats which has affected its trade.
Fayaz Ahmad Bhat underscored the need of establishing peace and harmony in the state. He said BJP will form its own government in next assembly and there is a tremendous support of people of Kashmir as well as people of Jammu and Ladakh to take J&K to the heights of development which is now possible under the dynamic leadership of N. Modi. He said there is no precedence during last several decades when any PM of the country has visited this state two times during two months, even recently one important leader has made a comment that UPA government had no time to visit J&K. he said that the UPA government could not solve the problems of the youth in the state but Modi has now assured to the youth of state for massive recruitment which is possible only when BJP government takes over in the state and the present corrupt regimes will be shown the doors. He also appreciated the recent statement of BJP president Amit Shah who openly exposed two corrupt families in most explicit manner.
Fayaz Ahmad Bhat appealed PM and Central Housing Ministry that Shahri Khaas of Srinagar should be declared heritage city, so that people of the area are able to take benefit of free house maintenance with five lakh package to each house and free water, electricity and food.
