Saleem Akhter critcizes police over harassing bike riders

Srinagar, August 13 :Independent Candidate Zadibal Constituency and prominent Civil Society and Social Activist Saleem Akhter Reshi (Malik) has come down heavily on J&K Police for creating undue difficulties in the way of bike riders by seizing their bikes unnecessarily even if they posses all genuine documents. “While on one side the police administration is failing to curb the growing number of crimes especially robbery in Zadibal Constituency and other areas of Kashmir valley but on the otherside Police is in an undue manner harassing the bike riders in the name of checking and security measures for the Independence day celebrations,” stated Saleem Akhter Malik (Reshi). Saleem Akhter called on all stakeholders to shun the repressive measures and adopt a policy of reconciliation so that issues get solved amicably.
