Farooq, Omar express grief over deaths in tragic Doda road mishap

JAMMU, April 14: National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Mr Omar Abdullah on Sunday expressed deep grief over the deaths of six persons including two minor sisters have lost their lives and four others were injured in a tragic road accident the ill fated van Eeco was on its way to Kathawa from Thathri when it plunged into a deep gorge at Khanpura in Phagsoo area in District Doda.

“My heart goes to all those who have lost their dear ones in the accident”, Dr Farooq Abdullah said in a message and wished early recovery to the injured.

In a separate message, National Conference Vice President Mr Omar Abdullah expressed grief over the deaths and prayed for early recovery of the injured.

Dr Farooq Abdullah and Mr Omar Abdullah conveyed their condolences to the bereaved families, prayed for peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss.

National Conference General Secretary Haji Ali Mohammed Sagar, Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamaal and Ajay Kumar Sadhotra Additional General Secretaries, Rattan lal Gupta Provincial President Jammu, Khlaid Najeev Suharwardhy Vice President Jammu Province, Sheikh Bashir Ahmed Provincial Secretary Jammu, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo Zonal President Chenab Valley, Qazi Jalal Ud Din Ex-MLA, Dr. Chaman Lal Bhagat Ex-MLA, Sajjad Shaheen District President Ramban, Dr. Shamshad Shan Chairperson DDC Ramban, Zaffarullah Rather District President Doda, Abdul Qayoom Baghwan District President Doda Rural (Bhaderwah), Tanveer Ahmed Kichloo District President Kishtwar, Mehboob Iqbal, Pyare Lal have also expressed grief over the deaths, prayed for peace to the departed souls and conveyed condolences to the bereaved families.
