Srinagar, March 05: In a big Development former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister , PDP President Mehbooba Mufti has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate to its office on March 15, sources said.
Miss Mufti was the first Women chief Minister and ironically last Chief Minister too of erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir State .
Ms Mufti was released in October last year after being detained by the government for nearly 14 months, since it scrapped special status to Jammu and Kashmir and divided the state into two Union Territories in August 2019.
Ms Mufti is main critic of the BJP lead Government move to scrap special status to the state.
After her released, she joined hands with rival National Conference’s Farooq Abdullah and others to form the People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration.
The Development comes in background of arrest of Waheed Para , PDP Youth President who is still in jail.
Parra has been accused of establishing clandestine connections with terrorists and secessionist organisations which are operating in J-K. Parra misused his political affiliations for the same and remained in touch with a number of militants, it was alleged by the Police.
