Srinagar, 22 December: The news about Covid resurgence(variant BF.7) has once again hit all the news portals and is making the bed for hot debate globally.According to the statement issued by world famous epidemiologist “Dr Eric Feigl-Ding” , more than 60% of china’s population and 10% of world population will likely be infected over next 90 days apart deaths in millions.The hospital’s in one of the strongest nations of world are already overburdened and witness havoc on daily basis due to Covid resurgence.Many other strong countries like USA, France,Japan, Korea and Brazil are also witnessing the sudden spurt of Covid cases.In last 24 hours, 5.37 lakh positive cases have been reported globally.
India nowhere being exception has also ordered adherence to Covid appropriate Behaviour with genome sequencing of all positive cases with immediate effect.There is an official data of loosing 530680 lives to Covid till date in India including 4785 deaths in J&K.It must be act as an eye opener that in last 24 hours, 15 positive cases of Covid-19 have been traced in Jammu and Kashmir,Hence not leaving any ground for health sytem to remain unprepared for any sort of possible health calamity.There is a expectation of mounted pressures on health setups in coming days.
Keeping in view the world health scenario and prediction of epidemiologists, Authorities of UT of J&K must take early decisions for preparedness of mitigating the Covid resurgence by extending the tenure of Covid expert medical officers and utilising their services for better patient care.we being medical officers were trained in Covid management of patients at DRDO Covid hospital, Khonmoh.We are very sure that we can render our services in a best possible way at this juncture of time when India is nowhere exceptional country from possible Covid spurt.
