Dr Kunzus Dolma stresses action will be taken against neglecting duty

Srinagar, Oct 27(KMW) In order to strengthen better and timely health care services to the masses at large Director Health Services Kashmir Dr Kansas Dolma had an extensive visit to health institutions of district Srinagar. She visited PHC Zadibal Srinagar where most of the staff was present and some staff was absent and without any leave.

On spot instructions we’re conveyed that if the standing instructions/rules with regard to punctuality are not followed by the staff action as warranted under rules shall be initiated against such irregularity including transfer to far flung areas. The ZMO Zadibal was directed to ensure maintenance of cleanliness equipments/machinery of the hospital. She was directed to call explanations from the staff who were found absent from their legitimate duties.

DHSK also visited MMC Noor Bagh where ZMO was directed to ensure proper monitoring and supervision in view of low performance observed by the authority to ensure performance of staff in the interest of patient care. Director Health Services Kashmir also had surprise inspection of NEPHEW Palpora where staff was present. She took on spot cognizance of new building under construction and directed Dying Director Planning DHSK, Chief Medical Officer Srinagar to take up the matter with executing agency for speedy recovery of the said building. Further she directed CMO Srinagar to ensure presence of staff in the health institutions falling under her control in the best interest of administration and patient care. DHSK had also interactions with the people of the areas and patients in particular.
