New Delhi+ Almost two weeks after a powerful blast outside the Delhi High Court killed at least 14 people, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has claimed a major breakthrough in the case, sources said today.
According to sources, the NIA investigators, who arrested two youths in Kishtwar town yesterday, have concluded that the conspiracy to target the Delhi High Court was hatched in Jammu and Kashmir. It is also believed that the main conspirators of this blast are still at large but they have no links to any well established terrorist outfit. As per NIA sources, the blast is the handiwork of a new terror module. The sources said a terror outfit that goes by the name of ‘Talbigi Jamat’ was behind the blast. This terror outfit is believed to be active in Kolkata and Bangalore. Two people are learnt to have been arrested by the NIA. Union Home Minister P Chidambaram is also likely to make a statement today in connection with NIA’s breakthrough in the blast case.
