DODA: With the aim to facilitate and provide a platform to the budding cricketers of the District Doda particularly from rural areas, Young Star Cricket Club Doda today organized and sponsored a 3-day tour of a 12 members cricket team of Ghat Block to Haryana.
District Development Commissioner, Doda Mr. Farooq Ahmed Khan flagged off the tour and interacted with the players. While speaking on the occasion DDC asked the players to play with sportsmen spirit.
Chief Patron Young Star Cricket Club Doda Mr. Manzoor Ahmed Butt and spokesperson YSCC Doda Mr. Mehboob Hassan Kriapak were also present on the occasion.
Mr. Sanjay Kumar , Coach is accompanying the touring team to Jamuna Nagar, Haryana where the team is scheduled to play cricket matches with a local team comprising of various National as well a
s international Players who have represented the country in various tournaments.
This is the first ever maiden tour of rural players organized and sponsored by the Young Star Cricket Club Doda to the outside of the state.(KMW News)
