DC Kargil reviews preparations for Republic Day celebration

Kargil, January 04: Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse today chaired a meeting of officers regarding the arrangements being put in place by the District Administration for the celebration of Republic Day 2025 in the district.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Wani, Chief Medical Officer, Dr Kacho Liyaqat Ali, ASP Nitin Yadav, Executive Engineer Mechanical Mohd Hassan, Exen PDD Feroz Hussain, DFO and other district officers from different departments.

The DC discussed the arrangements for flag hoisting, the march past, cultural programs, seating, venue decorations, security measures, Public Announcement System, awards, rehearsals, and other essential requirements.

DC Shrikant directed all the concerned district officers to ensure proper arrangements for a smooth and hassle-free Republic Day celebration, marked by enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.
