DC Kargil chairs meeting on AN-32 Kargil Courier Service

Kargil, Dec 11: Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Shrikant Suse today chaired a meeting through virtual mode to discuss the operational arrangements for AN-32 Kargil Courier Service for the 2024–25 winter season.

Key attendees included SSP Kargil, Director Airport Authority of India Srinagar and Jammu, Sr. Commandant CISF Jammu & Srinagar airport , Er. Aamir Ali Chief Coordinator AN32 Courier Service, General Manager AIASL, officers from the Indian Air Force and other stakeholders.

Discussions covered the Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) , facilities for passengers and crew, security protocols,infrastructure maintenance at Kargil airport,deployment of Liasoning officers from district administration, online ticket booking facility to ensure smooth operations of courier service during winters. 

It was emphasized that close coordination with all concerned Authorities shall be ensured well in advance for the courier service.

The Deputy Commissioner thanked and appreciated all the stakeholders for their support in successful operation of the flights to ease the life of locals when the Zojila pass remains closed.

All the stakeholders assured their full support and committed continuous cooperation to make the AN 32 Service Operational in this winter also.
