IUST Hosts Industry Connect Program on Networking and Cybersecurity

Awantipora, December 11: The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), in collaboration with Broadway Education Hub, M.A. Road, Srinagar, and KBITS, recently launched a CISCO program and organized an engaging workshop on Networking and Cybersecurity. The event, part of IUST’s Industry Connect Initiative led by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), aimed to equip students with advanced knowledge and practical skills to excel in the ever-evolving field of networking and cybersecurity.

The workshop featured Mr. Khawar Butt, Chairman and CEO of KBITS, a globally recognized expert in networking technologies. As a multi-CCIE and Microsoft Certified Trainer, Mr. Butt delivered a comprehensive session, offering valuable insights into networking architectures, security protocols, and emerging trends in cybersecurity, inspiring attendees with his expertise.

Dr. Amir Hussain, Industrial Connect Coordinator for IUST, also highlighted the university’s commitment to strengthening ties with industry leaders to create opportunities for students and scholars.
