Islamabad, Oct 24 : A day after the Pakistan National Assembly passed a Resolution on Jammu and Kashmir, President Mamnoon Hussain today again raises up the ‘K’ issue calling for a ”peaceful resolution” of the matter in accordance with relevant UN Resolutions.

Mr Hussain, on the occasion of the United Nations Day, said Pakistan was committed to building a peaceful neighbourhood through the just and peaceful resolution of all outstanding disputes, including that of Jammu and Kashmir, in accordance with the relevant UN resolutions that promise the ‘right to self-determination’ to the people of the state.

He said the United Nations and the international community had a permanent responsibility in realising that promise.
