A crowded press conference addressed by Farooq Renzushah in Hotel Lala Ruk Srinagar, Farooq Renzushah along with core committee of KDF dwelled on several key issues.
Faroq Renzushah stated – “I have resigned from Congress Party as I did not find Congres living upto its secular credentials and failed the expectations of masses of Kashmir on key occasions. Be it recent floods or any other trying circumstances Congress failed to offer soothing balm to people. We at Kashmir Development Forum would ensure honorable rehabilitation of flood victims and scrap anti-Kashmir treaties like Indus Water Treaty that is eating into our resources. Our focus is on Kashmir as it is the worst hit region of Jammu& Kashmir State. We as KDF would ensure holistic development of J&K State and provide meaningful job avenues to unemployed youth of state in central and state Departments.”
“Although in wake of floods the time is not opportune for conducting elections but if trusted KDF would fight the electoral battle and whitewash the dreams of explotative politicians who want to become MLA’s by bagging meager votes and are hoping for repeat of 1996 elections when few hundred votes got representatives elected to J &K Assembly. We would as Kashmir Development Front (KDF) fully hone the water potential of Kashmir and if Arabs have petrodollars we as Kashmir have hydro-dollars,” added Farooq Renzushah.
Pertinently, KDF in upcoming Assembly elections has decided to focus on 46 Assembly constituencies of Kashmir region. Political Pundits state of the recently launched Political Parties KDF is the real big shot with Businessman, Ex Bureaucrats, Activists, Academicians joining the platform which could prove a formidable challenge to tradition electoral forces in upcoming electoral battle of Jammu & Kashmir.
