New Delhi, July 1 The Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Friday strongly condemned a bomb attack at its Kerala state committee office and termed it a “cowardly” attack.
“We strongly condemn the bomb attack… on AKG Centre last night. We are confident that the government will investigate thoroughly and punish the culprits,” CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury tweeted.
A low intensity bomb was hurled at the AKG Centre, the headquarters of CPI(M) in Thiruvananthapuram, close to midnight on Thursday.
According to informed sources, the attackers came on a two-wheeler and hurled the bomb which hit the main gate. No one was injured. The attackers escaped.
