Congress Minister Sham Lal quits, submits resignation to JKPCC Chief

Jammu, Oct 24 : Senior Congress leader and Jammu and Kashmir Minister for PHE, Flood Control and Irrigation Sham Lal Sharma today resigned from his ministry and submitted resignation to the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) president Saif-ud-Din Soz.

”Mr Sharma late this evening resigned from Omar Abdullah’s cabinet and submitted his resignation to Prof Soz at Srinagar,” sources here told.

They said that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was not in Srinagar, so Mr Sharma handed over his resignation to the party president.
