Condition of Former Indian PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee is stable

New Delhi, Jun 12: The condition of former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee is stable. A statement issued by  the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi last night said that appropriate treatment was being administered to him by a team of doctors under the supervision of AIIMS Director Randeep Guleria.

The statement added that Mr Vajpayee was admitted to the hospital following complaints of a lower respiratory tract infection and kidney issues and he was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection.

Prime Minister of Indian Narendra Modi visited AIIMS yesterday evening to know the condition of Mr. Vajpayee. Mr Modi interacted with family members of Mr Vajpayee and also spoke to Doctors and inquired about his health.

BJP President Amit Shah, Senior BJP leader LK Advani, Health Minister JP Nadda and Congress President Rahul Gandhi also visited the hospital.
