CM meets Governor

JAMMU: Mr. Omar Abdullah, Chief Minister, met Mr. N. N. Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan here today.
During their hour long meeting, the Governor and the Chief Minister discussed various important issues relating to the State which included, interalia, the establishment of the Panchayati Raj institutions, elections to the Urban Local Bodies and early setting up of the State Vigilance Commission.
The Chief Minister briefed the Governor about the implementation of the various plan schemes and programmes and the measures being taken for the time-bound completion of major development projects. (KMW NEWS)
