Srinagar: After pleasant weather for more than a week, people were forced to wear woollen and other warm clothes due to cloudy sky in the Kashmir valley, where light rain is expected at isolated places during the next 24 hours.

nus 5 degree minimum temperature, in Ladakh region, which remained cut off from the rest of the state due to closure of Zojila pass on the Srinagar-Leh national highway due to heavy snowfall since December 1 last year.
A Met department spokesman said here this afternoon light rain or thundershowers would occur at isolated places over Jammu and Kashmir during the next 24 hours.
Reports said that sky was very cloudy at world famous ski resort of Gulmarg since this morning while sum was playing hide and seek at health resort of Pahalgam.
Hundreds of tourists from different parts of the country are visiting these tourist resorts daily.
Met spokesman said light to moderate rain would occur in the summer capital, Srinagar, tomorrow when both minimum and maximum temperatures will remain near normal.
He said Kargil recorded minus 5 degree celsius minimum temperature this morning, about a notch less than yesterday’s 3.8 degree. (KMW NEWS)
