Clashes in Pulwama amid shutdown

Srinagar, January 29(KMW): Clashes erupt between the youth and the government forces in Pulwama district on Monday amid complete shutdown for the second consecutive day against the killing of two youth in Ganawpora area of district Shopian by government forces.

Reports said that clashes erupted in the town after some youth raised slogans and pelted stones on police near Murran Chowk when some shopkeepers tried to open their shops.

The local source said that Police fired few tear smoke shells to disperse the protesters.
