SRINAGAR: Minister for Medical Education, Youth Services and Sports, R.S. Chib today reviewed the availability of health care facilities at a high level meeting of officers at SMHS hospital.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Principal, Government Medical College, Qazi Masood, Principal, Government Dental College, Medical Superintendent and various renowned doctors of the hospital.
The Minister said that various surgical instruments will be provided to the Dental College Srinagar so that surgery will be conducted smoothly in this college. Similarly patients should avail all the health care facilities available in the government hospitals. He said that government is contemplating to provide better health care facilities to the people and heating system will be provided to all the hospitals in the state.
Later, Mr. Chib also inspected the Sharjah Ground at Qamarwari and Bemina. He assured the cricket lovers and inhabitants of these areas that steps would be taken on priority basis to upgrade these grounds so that various games would be played at these grounds.
The Minister said that for renovation and repairs of stadia, matter will be taken up with Srinagar Development Authority. He announced to distribute four cricket kits among the players.(KMW News)
