Chairman J&K Bank meets Governor

JAMMU: Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad, Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Bank, called on Mr. N. N. Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan, here today.

During the meeting, Mr. Ahmad briefed the Governor about the measures being taken by the J&K Bank to advance loans to the artisans, craftsmen, un-employed youth and others for establishing their own ventures under various self-employment schemes.
The Governor complimented Mr. Ahmad on the high ratings recently secured by the J&K Bank and the awards received for the high level of operational efficiencies achieved by J&K Bank. He urged the Chairman to ensure that the Bank continued to play a significant role in speeding up all round growth and development in the State. (KMW News)
