CEC Kargil meets President Polo Association, players to discuss development of horse polo

Kargil, Jan 31: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC, Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today met with President of Polo Association Kargil, Amin Polo, along with players from various polo teams of District Kargil.

The delegation raised various demands, including declaring horse polo as the state game of Ladakh, purchasing high-quality breed horses for players, providing quality polo equipment, and annual coaching for horse polo players at a reputed institute.

CEC Kargil gave a patient hearing to all demands and issues. He said he would personally look into the matter. Dr Akhoon also said he will take up all the demands with the Hon’ble LG Ladakh and Secretary of Youth Services and Sports Ladakh at the earliest.
