Haj Committee, Ladakh, organizes Haj orientation training program in Drass

Kargil, April 10: The Haj Committee of Ladakh today organized a Haj orientation training program for provisionally selected Haj pilgrims in Drass to prepare them for their spiritual journey.

Chairperson, Haj Committee UT Ladakh, Mohd Ali Majaz, led the program, ensuring a comprehensive and informative experience for the pilgrims. Member Haj Committee, Nazir Ahmad, shared insights and expertise, contributing to the success of the program. Haj Officer Mohmad Ali was also present at the event.

The State Haj Inspector Mohammad Yahya provided valuable guidance on logistical and administrative aspects. Respected Imams from Drass, including Munner Ahmad, Imam Juma Alhadies Muradbage; Mohd Abdullah, Imam Juma Hanifiya Drass; Sheikh Ansar Hussain, Naib Imam Juma Drass Nurbaksha; and Mohd Ramzan, Naib Imami Gosiya Jamia Masjid Drass, offered spiritual guidance and support.

The participants were provided essential information regarding safety and logistical arrangements. They were briefed on the provision of necessary items such as backpacks, medicines, and other essentials.

The session also included guidance on understanding medical requirements and precautions to ensure a safe pilgrimage. Additionally, details were shared on the arrangements for comfortable travel and stay in Saudi Arabia, as well as instructions on performing Haj rituals and understanding the significance of various sites.
