CASO in southern Kashmir’s Batengoo area

Srinagar, January 15 (KMW): A cordon and search operation was launched Monday morning in Batengoo area of Islamabad district by joint parties of Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police, army’s 1 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and 90 battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
As per an eyewitness, massive forces have been deployed in the area who were conducting house to house searches.
The searches were going on in the area as the last report came in. Further details awaited.
