Cabinet orders transfers and postings in administration

JAMMU, Nov 29 (KMW): The Cabinet which met here, today, under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, ordered the following transfers and postings in administration.
Mr. Mohammad Afzal Bhat, IAS, Secretary to the Government, Cooperatives Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government, Forest Department, upon the retirement on superannuation of Sheikh Ejaz Iqbal on 30.11.2013.
Mr. Ramesh Kumar Koul, IAS, Special Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government, Cooperatives Department, vice Mr. Mohammad Afzal Bhat.
Mr. Hemant Kumar Sharma, IAS, Director, Command Area Development, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, vice Mr. Faqir Chand Bhagat. The Director, Agriculture, Jammu, shall hold the charge of the post of Director, Command Area Development, Jammu, in addition to his own duties till further orders.
Sheikh Fayaz Ahmad, KAS, Joint Transport Commissioner, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Director, Estates, relieving Mr. M.M. Gupta of the additional charge of the post.
Mr. Soujanya Kumar Sharma, KAS, Director, Tourism, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Director, Information, J&K relieving Mr. Zaffar Ahmad Bhat of the additional charge of the post. Mr. Soujanya shall, however, continue to hold the charge of Director, Tourism, Jammu till further orders.
The Cabinet also accorded sanction to the appointment of Dr.Rafiq Ahmad Pampori, Professor and Head of Department of ENT, as Principal Government Medical College Srinagar w.e.f 01.10.2012. The Cabinet also approved regularization of Dr. Abdul Kabir Dar as Director Indian System of Medicine J&K against the available post w.e.f. 12.12.2006.
