Srinagar, Nov 30 (KMW): On the eve of 145th death anniversary of Robert Thorpe the first guest martyr of Kashmir a high level delegation of Lawyers Club led by chairman Advocate Babar Jan Qadri, Advocate Gowhar Makhdoomi, Advocate Uzair Ronga and Journalists Rameez Makhdoomi, Ajaz Ahmad War, Bilal Bashir Bhat visited his graveyard situated at Bund Sheikh Bagh near Melonson School Srinagar. Speaking on the occasion Advocate Babar Qadri stated that Robert presented his precious life for our better future, he raised his voice against the then Mahraja Cruel Rule and prevailing situation of Kashmiri Muslims. Babar in his firebrand speech urged kashmiri youth to keep fighting against oppressive powers and called upon international powers to look seriously into sufferings of Kashmiris.
