Cabinet orders reshuffle in Police Administration

JAMMU:The State Cabinet, which met here on Friday evening under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr. Omar Abdullah has ordered transfers and postings in Police Department.

1. Mr. K. Rajendra Kumar, IPS:84, ADGP, Armed, Law & Order has been transferred and posted as DG, Prisons Department.
2. Mr. P.L. Gupta, IPS:84, Commissioner of Vigilance, J&K has been transferred and posted as ADGP, (Coordination) PHQ, against a newly created post.
3. Mr. Navin Agarwal, IPS:86, ADGP, Prisons Department has been transferred and posted as DG, Youth Services & Sports vice Mr. J.P. Singh, KAS.
4. Smt. Duety Rani Doley, IPS:86, presently on leave has been posted as ADGP, Homeguards and Civil Defence.
5. Mr. Vijay Kumar Singh, IPS:87, IGP Trainings/CIV, PHQ, upon his promotion has been posted as ADG, Security, J&K vice Dr. Ram Lubhaya. He shall takeover the charge of the post on 31st March, 2013, on the superannuation of Dr. Ram Lubhaya.
6. Mr. Shiv Murari Sahai, IPS:87, IGP, Kashmir Zone upon his promotion, has been posted as ADGP, Armed, vice Mr. K. Rajendra Kumar.
7. Mr. Dilbagh Singh, IPS: 87, IGP, Jammu Zone upon his promotion has been posted as MD, Police Housing Corporation which post is hereby declared equivalent in rank and status to that of ADGP.
8. Mr. Owais Ahmad Sheikh, IPS:87, IGP, Technical Services upon his promotion as ADGP, shall await orders of posting in the Home Department.
9. Mr. Rajesh Kumar, IPS:95, DIG, North Kashmir Range, Baramulla, upon his promotion, has been posted as IGP, Jammu Zone, vice Mr. Dilbagh Singh.
10. Mr. Abdul Gani Mir, IPS: 94, IGP, Crime, J&K, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Kashmir Zone, vice Mr. S.M. Sahai.
11. Mr. Suleman Salaria, IPS: 94, IGP, Personnel, PHQ has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Civil Military Liaison vice Mr. P.R. Manhas.
12. Mr. Yoginder Koul, IPS:94, IG, Home Guards has been transferred and posted as IGP, State Human Rights Commission, against an available vacancy.
13. Mr. Arun Chowdhary, IPS:91, IGP (HQ) PHQ has been transferred and posted as IGP (Pers), PHQ, vice Shri Suleman Salaria.
14. Mr. Deepak Kumar, IPS:93, IGP, Vigilance has been transferred and posted as IGP (HQ), PHQ, vice Mr. Arun Kumar Chowdhary.
15. Syed Javed Mujtaba Geelani, IPS:94, awaiting orders of posting, has been posted as IG, Crime vice Mr. Abdul Gani Mir.
16. Mr. S.S. Khandare, IPS:95, DIG, CIV, PHQ upon his promotion has been posted as IGP, Technical Services and CIV.
17. Mr. Alok Puri, IPS:94, MD, Police Housing Corporation has been transferred and posted as IG, Vigilance.
18. Mr. J.P. Singh, IPS:96, DIG, Jammu has been transferred and posted as DIG, Baramulla.
19. Mr. Ashkoor Wani, IPS:99, SSP, Udhampur upon his promotion be transferred and posted DIG, Doda- Kishtwar.
20. Mr. Ali Mohd Bhat, IPS:99, SSP, Vigilance upon his promotion has been posted as DIG, Vigilance.
21. Mr. Shakeel Ahmed Beigh, IPS:98, DIG, Traffic, Jammu has been transferred and posted as DIG, Jammu.
22. Mr. Gareeb Dass, IPS: 97, DIG, Doda-Kishtwar has been transferred and posted as DIG, Udhampur.
23. Mr. Shafqat Watali, IPS:96, DIG, Traffic, Kashmir has been transferred and posted as DIG, Traffic, Jammu.
24. Mr. Jagjit Kumar, IPS:96, DIG, Udhampur has been transferred and posted as DIG, Traffic, Kashmir.
