Cabinet gives nod to develop 2 Hydro Power Projects by IPPs

Srinagar: The State Cabinet which met here today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr. Omar Abdullah accorded sanction to the development of Parkachik-Panikher HEP on river Suri (Ladakh) and Shutkari Kulan HEP on river Sindh (Sonamarg) by Independent Power Producers ( IPPs) selected by the Swiss Challenge Method by JKSPDC on a pilot basis.
